October is Computer Learning Month. This month, we encourage members of the PCSSD community who are not familiar with computers to learn something new. Many local libraries provide resources to teach everything from the basics to more advanced skills.


October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. That means, on average, every 2 minutes a woman receives that life-changing news. Join PCSSD in raising awareness for this disease. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

October 5-9, 2020 has been designated as College Week at Mills High School. During the week, we will have virtual college tours, meetings with college and trade school recruiters, and we will start the Common App for college entrance. All Seniors have received an email containing the flyer with the active links for the week. Students will click on the link each day to join the meetings. Door prizes will be given each day. Please encourage your Senior to join us as we help him/her plan for their futures.


Friday's Football Game @ Central Arkansas Christian
We have ticket vouchers available in the front office. Coach Lee has tickets available for the players' families. The vouchers are free at Mills. The vouchers will allow Mills fans to purchase the tickets at CAC. Our fans will not be allowed to purchase tickets and will not be admitted into the game even if they have a AAA card without the voucher. We have a total of 125 vouchers.
