Students in Dr. Franco's class learned about the astrological phenomenon called eclipse (Ékleipsis in Greek). They also studied the different types of eclipses, illustrating the differences. We're prepared to see it with our new glasses thanks to the Arkansas STEM Coalition and Entergy Arkansas!

Students in Ms. Foote's English II classes recently learned the process of analyzing and evaluating arguments for effectiveness and writing argument essays. For their culminating project, students applied their learning by exploring a current, real-world case and holding "court in the classroom."
Students divided into teams, prosecution and defense, and researched pertinent evidence to synthesize and present arguments in support of or opposition of the defendant. The experience was complete with court proceedings, a bailiff, judges, lead attorneys, and exhibits.
