Darrell Walker was a basketball standout at University of Arkansas. He was drafted by the Knicks in 1983, played for 5 NBA teams & won a Championship with '93 Bulls. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2018.

Milton P. Crenchaw is an original Tuskegee Airmen. He was one of the first African Americans (and the first in Arkansas) to be trained as a civilian licensed pilot. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2007.

Wilbur D. Mills U.S. High School would like to inform you of the upcoming ACT test to be given to all 11th graders on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. All 11th graders are required to come to school that day for this assessment. Students must report to school no later than 8:45 a.m. CDC-recommended guidelines for social distancing will be strictly enforced; students are required to wear masks. Please remind your student(s) to bring their Chromebook to school.
The state Department of Education is paying for students enrolled in any Arkansas public school in grade 11 during the testing window to take the ACT® test at school to assist students as they prepare for their future after high school. There is no cost to you for this administration.

Dress Code Reminders
This is a reminder about our basic dress code policies. If your students wear jeans/pants with holes above the knees, they should wear tights, leggings, or shorts to cover exposed areas from holes. Shirts/tops should also not expose the midriff area of the students. Students violating the dress code will be issued written documentation by a staff member, and parent contact will be made by the student to correct the attire. Continued violations may result in interventions and consequences specific to restorative justice and collaboration specific to the student and school. Below you will find a link to our 2020-21 Procedures Manual with all our policies.

Ernest Green was the 1st African American & only one from Little Rock Nine to graduate from Central HS in 1957. He served the Asst. Secretary of Labor from 1977-1981. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 1993.

Mills University Studies High School is providing a workshop for parents and community stakeholders. Michael A. Conley was a track & field star who won 16 NCAA titles at the Univ. of Arkansas. He also won an Olympic gold medal in 1992 and silver medal in 1984. He was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 1998.
