10th grade students in the AV Tech & Film, Advertising & Graphic Design, and Digital Marketing pathways from Mills University Studies High participated in an industry tour of MHP.SI. This was a great opportunity for students to visit with a company that specializes in a variety of areas within the marketing industry. Students also had hands-on experience in their studio, learning about the equipment used to make videos and commercials.

Congratulations to the members of the Speech & Debate team who competed in the 2025 A STATE Howl Yes Tournament recently. We would like to extend additional recognition to Chance Bradford for placing 1st in Impromptu Speaking and 5th in Extemporaneous Speaking. Chance also placed 2nd with Xavion Mclennan in Duet Improv; Xavion Mclennan additionally placed 3rd in Informative Speaking and 6th in IPDA Overall Speaker Award. We are proud of all their hard work!

Ms. Foote was nominated by students, one of whom stated, "Ms. Foote continually gives forth her best effort to teach kids; not only in the curriculum, but also in real life situations. She has also gotten most of her AVID students into colleges already (with scholarships)."
